Dati di navigazione
Come ogni sito, anche questo lascia una traccia tecnica. Il server del fornitore di hosting registra nei propri log:
- indirizzo IP;
- data e ora della visita;
- pagina richiesta;
- browser e sistema operativo.
Servono solo alla sicurezza e al funzionamento del sito. Non li usiamo per identificarti né per profilarti.

Link di DROP Showcase
DROP Showcase (showcase.dropfilms.it) è il nostro portfolio privato: ogni cliente riceve un link personale. Quando apri uno di questi link registriamo, senza cookie e senza salvare il tuo indirizzo IP:
- quando lo apri;
- tipo di dispositivo e di browser;
- paese e città approssimativi;
- lingua;
- quali video guardi e per quanto tempo.
Per contare i dispositivi usiamo un'impronta anonima che cambia ogni giorno e non permette di riconoscerti. Un'apertura conta solo dopo 2 secondi di pagina visibile. L'indirizzo IP serve solo a calcolare quell'impronta e non viene salvato. Paese e città approssimativi arrivano dal fornitore di hosting. I dati restano nel database di DROP Showcase, su server Supabase a Francoforte (Germania). Nessun servizio esterno di statistiche.
Servono a sapere se e come vengono visti i materiali che ti mandiamo.
Base giuridica: legittimo interesse (art. 6.1.f GDPR). Conservazione: 13 mesi, poi i dati vengono cancellati in automatico.
Email che ci invii
Sul sito trovi tre indirizzi: info@dropfilms.it, casting@dropfilms.it e job@dropfilms.it. Se ci scrivi, riceviamo i dati contenuti nel messaggio: indirizzo email, nome e tutto ciò che decidi di includere.
Li usiamo per risponderti e gestire la tua richiesta. Per candidature e casting vale quanto scritto sotto.
Base giuridica: misure precontrattuali adottate su tua richiesta (art. 6.1.b GDPR) oppure nostro legittimo interesse a rispondere (art. 6.1.f GDPR). Conservazione: per il tempo necessario a gestire la richiesta e il rapporto che ne deriva.
Candidature e casting
Se ci mandi una candidatura a job@dropfilms.it o materiali per un casting a casting@dropfilms.it, trattiamo il CV, le foto e quanto ci invii di tua iniziativa. Li usiamo per valutare la candidatura o la partecipazione al casting. Se il profilo ci interessa, li usiamo anche per ricontattarti per progetti futuri.
Ti chiediamo di non inviare dati particolari che non servono, ad esempio informazioni sulla salute.
Base giuridica: per la valutazione, misure precontrattuali adottate su tua richiesta (art. 6.1.b GDPR). Per tenere il profilo in archivio in vista di progetti futuri, nostro legittimo interesse ad avere un archivio di profili per i nostri progetti (art. 6.1.f GDPR). Puoi opporti in qualsiasi momento (art. 21 GDPR) e chiedere la cancellazione scrivendo a info@dropfilms.it.
Conservazione: teniamo CV e materiali finché possono servire a proporti un progetto, e comunque non oltre 36 mesi dall'ultimo contatto. Per ultimo contatto intendiamo un nuovo invio, un colloquio o un provino, un lavoro insieme, una tua risposta a un nostro messaggio. Una volta l'anno rivediamo l'archivio e cancelliamo i profili non più attuali.
Per i minori conserviamo i materiali al massimo 12 mesi dalla ricezione, senza proroghe.
Se lavoriamo insieme, i dati legati all'incarico seguono i tempi del contratto e degli obblighi fiscali.
Chi tratta i dati con noi
Per far funzionare il sito, la posta e DROP Showcase ci appoggiamo a fornitori tecnici:
- Aruba S.p.A. (Italia), per l'hosting del sito e per la posta elettronica.
- Vercel Inc., per l'hosting di DROP Showcase, con server a Francoforte (Germania). Riceve le richieste delle pagine, quindi anche l'indirizzo IP, per servirle.
- Supabase Inc., per il database di DROP Showcase, con server a Francoforte (Germania).
Font e librerie del sito e di DROP Showcase sono serviti da noi. Durante la navigazione non partono richieste automatiche a servizi di terzi.
Cookie e memoria del browser
Il sito non imposta cookie. Non usiamo cookie di profilazione né cookie di terze parti caricati in automatico.
Usiamo un solo elemento tecnico nella memoria locale del browser (localStorage), con chiave "dropfilms-lang". Ricorda la lingua che hai scelto. Viene salvato solo quando cambi lingua e non lascia il tuo dispositivo. Essendo strettamente tecnico non richiede consenso. Puoi cancellarlo in qualsiasi momento dalle impostazioni del browser.
Anche DROP Showcase non imposta cookie e non scrive nulla nella memoria locale del browser. Usa solo una memoria di sessione tecnica (sessionStorage, chiave "showcase:ritorno"): quando apri un progetto, ricorda da dove sei partito per riportarti alla selezione nello stesso punto. Non contiene identificativi e sparisce quando chiudi la scheda.
Per questo non trovi un banner cookie.
Contenuti di terze parti attivati da te
Alcuni contenuti arrivano da servizi esterni. Non si caricano da soli: partono solo dopo una tua azione.
- Video dei progetti. Sono ospitati su FrameRate, servizio di Open Exchange LLC (Decatur, Georgia, Stati Uniti), e trasmessi tramite Mux, Inc. (Stati Uniti). Il video si carica solo quando premi play: prima non viene inviato nessun dato. Dopo il play il player arriva da FrameRate e il video da Mux. Entrambi ricevono il tuo indirizzo IP, dati tecnici del browser e il dominio del nostro sito: quanto serve a mostrarti il video. Sul player FrameRate abbiamo attivato l'opzione Do not track: FrameRate non conta la visione, le statistiche di Mux sono spente e il player non imposta cookie. Nel browser salva solo dati di funzionamento, come la lingua dei sottotitoli e lo stato di riproduzione. Con i browser che usano il motore di Safari (Safari su Mac e quasi tutti i browser su iPhone e iPad), il video parte invece nel player del browser, dai server di Mux: di norma FrameRate non riceve nulla e nel browser non viene salvato niente. In entrambi i casi chi riceve le richieste può registrarle nei propri log tecnici. Non riceviamo statistiche personali. Anche i video di DROP Showcase usano il player FrameRate con l'opzione Do not track, caricato solo quando premi play. Informative: framerate.tv/privacy e mux.com/privacy.
- Link "Apri in Google Maps" nella pagina contatti. La cartina della pagina è un'immagine del sito e non contatta Google: solo se clicchi il link si apre Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) in una nuova scheda. Informativa: policies.google.com/privacy.
Da quel momento si applicano le informative di questi fornitori, che possono trattare dati anche fuori dall'Unione Europea.
Link esterni
Il sito contiene semplici link a Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube e al sito DROP Lab. Finché non clicchi, nessun dato viene condiviso. Dopo il clic valgono le informative di quei siti.

The site is a showcase: no forms, no newsletter, no accounts, no analytics, no profiling. DROP Showcase links only have the statistics described below.

What data we process
Browsing data
Like every website, this one leaves a technical trace. The hosting provider's server records in its logs:
- IP address;
- date and time of the visit;
- page requested;
- browser and operating system.
This data is used only for the security and operation of the site. We do not use it to identify or profile you.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Retention: for as long as needed for security and operation, according to the provider's settings.
DROP Showcase links
DROP Showcase (showcase.dropfilms.it) is our private portfolio: each client gets a personal link. When you open one of these links we record, without cookies and without storing your IP address:
- when you open it;
- device and browser type;
- approximate country and city;
- language;
- which videos you watch and for how long.
To count devices we use an anonymous fingerprint that changes every day and cannot identify you. An open only counts after the page has been visible for 2 seconds. The IP address is only used to compute that fingerprint and is not stored. Approximate country and city come from the hosting provider. The data stays in the DROP Showcase database, on Supabase servers in Frankfurt (Germany). No external analytics service.
It tells us whether and how the material we send you is viewed.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Retention: 13 months, then the data is deleted automatically.
Emails you send us
The site lists three addresses: info@dropfilms.it, casting@dropfilms.it and job@dropfilms.it. When you write to us, we receive the data in your message: your email address, your name and whatever else you choose to include.
We use it to reply and handle your request. For job applications and casting, see below.
Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) or our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Retention: for as long as needed to handle the request and any relationship that follows.
Job applications and casting
If you send an application to job@dropfilms.it or casting material to casting@dropfilms.it, we process the CV, photos and anything else you send on your own initiative. We use it to assess your application or your participation in the casting. If your profile interests us, we also use it to contact you again about future projects.
Please do not send special category data that is not needed, such as health information.
Legal basis: for the assessment, pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). For keeping your profile on file for future projects, our legitimate interest in keeping an archive of profiles for our own projects (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). You can object at any time (Art. 21 GDPR) and ask us to delete it by writing to info@dropfilms.it.
Retention: we keep CVs and materials for as long as they may help us offer you a project, and in any case no longer than 36 months from the last contact. Last contact means a new submission, an interview or audition, a job together, a reply of yours to one of our messages. Once a year we review the archive and delete profiles that are no longer current.
For minors we keep the materials for 12 months at most from receipt, with no extensions.
If we work together, data tied to the job follows the terms of the contract and our tax obligations.
Who processes data with us
To run the site, email and DROP Showcase we rely on technical providers:
- Aruba S.p.A. (Italy), for website hosting and email.
- Vercel Inc., for DROP Showcase hosting, with servers in Frankfurt (Germany). It receives page requests, including the IP address, in order to serve them.
- Supabase Inc., for the DROP Showcase database, with servers in Frankfurt (Germany).
Fonts and libraries for the site and for DROP Showcase are served by us. While you browse, no automatic requests go to third-party services.
Cookies and browser storage
The site sets no cookies. We use no profiling cookies and no third-party cookies loaded automatically.
We use a single technical item in your browser's local storage (localStorage), with the key "dropfilms-lang". It remembers the language you chose. It is saved only when you switch language and never leaves your device. Being strictly technical, it needs no consent. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings.
DROP Showcase sets no cookies either and writes nothing to your browser's local storage. It only uses technical session storage (sessionStorage, key "showcase:ritorno"): when you open a project, it remembers where you started so it can take you back to the same point of the selection. It contains no identifiers and disappears when you close the tab.
That is why there is no cookie banner.
Third-party content you activate
Some content comes from external services. It never loads on its own: it starts only after an action of yours.
- Project videos. They are hosted on FrameRate, a service of Open Exchange LLC (Decatur, Georgia, United States), and streamed through Mux, Inc. (United States). The video loads only when you press play: until then no data is sent. After you press play, the player comes from FrameRate and the video from Mux. Both receive your IP address, technical browser data and our site's domain: what they need to show you the video. On the FrameRate player we enabled the Do not track option: FrameRate does not count the view, Mux statistics are off and the player sets no cookies. In your browser it only stores data it needs to work, such as subtitle language and playback state. In browsers that use Safari's engine (Safari on Mac and almost every browser on iPhone and iPad), the video plays in the browser's own player instead, straight from Mux's servers: FrameRate normally receives nothing and nothing is stored in your browser. In both cases whoever receives the requests may record them in its technical logs. We receive no personal statistics. DROP Showcase videos also use the FrameRate player with the Do not track option, loaded only when you press play. Privacy policies: framerate.tv/privacy and mux.com/privacy.
- "Open in Google Maps" link on the contacts page. The map on the page is an image of the site and does not contact Google: Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) opens in a new tab only if you click the link. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
From that moment the privacy policies of these providers apply. They may also process data outside the European Union.
External links
The site contains plain links to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and the DROP Lab website. No data is shared until you click. After the click, those sites' privacy policies apply.
Your rights
Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR you can ask us at any time for:
- access to your data;
- rectification;
- erasure;
- restriction of processing;
- objection to processing;
- data portability.
Write to info@dropfilms.it.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali): www.garanteprivacy.it.
Other information
Providing your data is optional. Without the data in your email, however, we cannot reply.
We do not use automated decision-making.
